DC Visit
Save the Date! Early planning for DC Visit, April 7-9, 2008
The National Mitigation Banking Association will have its DC Fly-In Monday to Wednesday, April 7-9, 2008. All members are invited to participate. We plan 2 and 1/2 exciting days, beginning with a half day on Monday.
PLEASE NOTE you must make your own travel arrangements, including hotel arrangements. The NMBA trip is during the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., so hotels are filling up quickly.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND some or all of the DC Visit.
We are just starting to fill in the calendar, but we will be meeting with folks from EPA, the Corps, FWS and other federal agencies, as well as multiple offices on the House and Senate. We usually get so busy that we have to split into separate groups for many of the Hill meetings. The trip also provides an opportunity for you to see your own Representatives and get their support for mitigation banking.
